Ben Nevis Hotel & Leisure Club, Fort William

The hotel is conveniently located near Glen Nevis, making it ideal for hikers. The room I stayed in was small but tidy, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the windows were old-fashioned and difficult to close, which detracted from the overall comfort. The dining experience was lovely, with excellent meals, but there were some service hiccups that left me feeling a bit overlooked.

While the hotel has some potential, my stay was marred by various issues. The overall condition of the communal areas left much to be desired, and the facilities could use a thorough update. However, the location is appealing for those wanting to explore nature, and some aspects of the stay, like the comfortable rooms, were quite pleasant.
